Welcome to Inn Keeping with Integrity
Whether you are a resident or visitor to an area, knowing where to go for a meal, drinks or high quality entertainment in enjoyable, well-managed, safe venues, is essential.
Inn Keeping with Integrity is a scheme devised to recognise and promote licensed premises and our star ratings help to show members of the public, that members of the scheme are dedicated to run enjoyable, well-managed and safe venues. To join the scheme premises are inspected and assessed to ensure they meet the minimum standards set out by the scheme and Best Bar None nationally.
Any premises can join the scheme and work towards becoming an accredited member with a star rating. if they have clearly shown they have the commitment to meet the minimum standards set.
Licensed premises will be given a window sticker which they will be encouraged to display at their premises - look out for their rating. The rating scale will range from zero to five "Stars". The table below gives a guide to the differences in score rating.
No stars working towards accreditation
1 Star = 100% of the essential criteria
2 Stars = 100% of the essential plus 20% of the Desirable and Bonus criteria
3 Stars = 100% of the essential plus 40% of the Desirable and Bonus criteria
4 Stars = 100% of the essential plus 60% of the Desirable and Bonus criteria
5 Stars = 100% of the essential plus 80% of the Desirable and Bonus criteria
